Xynch

Terms of use

Clear enough to actually read.

These terms describe the practical agreement between Xynch and the people using it. They are written to match the product rather than hide ordinary expectations in unnecessary language.

Using Xynch

Xynch is provided by Xynch Limited (company number 17214210), registered in England and Wales with registered office at 124 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX, as a practical way to organise property knowledge, work, documents and spatial context. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to use it in accordance with these terms.

You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and only give other people access where you are entitled to do so.

Your workspace and your information

You keep responsibility for the information you add to Xynch. You give Xynch the permissions needed to store, process, back up and display that information so the service can work for you and the people you deliberately share it with.

Do not upload material that you do not have the right to use, or use Xynch to store or share unlawful, harmful or abusive material.

Sensitive and safety-critical information

Xynch can hold useful operational memory, but it should not be your only source for information where a mistake or temporary loss of access could create an immediate risk to people or property.

Xynch does not replace qualified legal, financial, structural, electrical, gas, fire-safety, medical or other professional advice. Use appropriate professional help where the situation requires it.

Plans, limits and fair use

Some Xynch plans are free and some are paid. The price and the main allowance or plan differences are shown before you choose a paid subscription. Customer-facing prices are intended to be clear and inclusive of applicable VAT where required.

Reasonable storage, usage and technical boundaries may apply so that one workspace cannot use the service as unlimited general-purpose file storage, automation or computing capacity. Xynch aims to make those boundaries proportionate and understandable rather than using them to make ordinary household use difficult.

Paid subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Unless the checkout says otherwise, a recurring subscription renews until it is cancelled. You can manage an active subscription through Billing & plan in Xynch and the Stripe customer portal.

If a payment fails, Xynch may allow a reasonable recovery period while Stripe retries or the payment method is updated. Access and plan state can change if the subscription is cancelled or remains unpaid. Nothing in these terms removes any statutory consumer right you may have.

14-day consumer cancellation right

If you are a consumer buying a paid Xynch subscription online, you normally have 14 days from the day after the subscription contract is made to change your mind and cancel without giving a reason.

Xynch access normally starts straight away. If you exercise this cooling-off right within the 14-day period, Xynch will refund the subscription payment covered by that cancellation rather than deducting an amount for the use you made during the cooling-off period. This does not affect any other statutory right you may have.

To cancel during the cooling-off period, email hello@xynch.com or send any other clear statement telling us that you want to cancel. Please include the email address used for your Xynch account and enough information for us to identify the subscription. You do not have to use a particular form.

If a refund is due after a valid cooling-off cancellation, it will be made without undue delay and normally within 14 days of us receiving your cancellation notice, using the original payment method unless we agree otherwise.

Optional cancellation notice

You may copy and send the following information if it is useful: I am giving notice that I wish to cancel my Xynch subscription. Account email: [your email]. Workspace name: [workspace]. Subscription started: [date]. Name: [your name]. Date: [date].

Send the notice to hello@xynch.com. A clear cancellation request is enough even if you do not use this wording.

Availability, changes and continuity

Xynch is built to be dependable, but no online service can promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages, security work or faults can occasionally make part of the service unavailable.

We may change or improve Xynch as the product develops. Material changes that affect customer commitments, pricing or important data handling should be explained clearly rather than introduced silently.

Xynch includes export and continuity features because useful property knowledge should not depend entirely on one application. You remain responsible for keeping any separate copies that are especially important to you.

Suspension or closure

We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary for security, suspected abuse, unlawful use, non-payment or protection of other users and the service. Where circumstances allow, we will prefer a clear route to resolve the issue rather than sudden unexplained loss of access.

You can stop using Xynch at any time. Subscription cancellation and account or data deletion are separate actions, so cancelling a paid plan does not by itself mean that ordinary workspace data is immediately destroyed.
