Xynch

Security and ownership

Your home records should feel private, protected and yours.

Xynch may hold information about repairs, documents, locations and the practical workings of a home. That requires thoughtful access control, honest security and useful ways to take your information with you.

Current foundations

Security is layered, not cosmetic.

Xynch combines authentication, workspace membership, role-aware behaviour and database-level controls. No single screen is treated as the security boundary.

Access starts with your workspace

Property information is scoped to a workspace. Access is granted deliberately through membership and invitations rather than being public by default.

Roles keep permissions understandable

Owners, editors and viewers have different levels of access. Viewer mode is read-only and removes editing and export controls.

Access is enforced beyond the interface

Database-level access controls protect workspace data rather than relying only on what an individual screen happens to show.

Private media stays controlled

Property images and documents are not intended to be openly exposed. Access to private media is controlled and granted only when needed.

Sensitive information

Not every piece of household knowledge is ordinary.

House Bible entries can be marked as sensitive or secret. Protected values stay hidden until deliberately accessed by someone with permission, and relevant access activity is recorded for accountability.

Secure key cupboard

Utility room · access information protected

Available only to people with the appropriate access. Relevant activity is recorded.

Ownership and continuity

Protection should not become lock-in.

Security protects your information while it is in Xynch. Ownership means useful records can also leave Xynch in forms you can read, retain and use.

Export useful property records in human-readable formats

Download structured property data for continuity and future use

Share deliberately and revoke access when it is no longer needed

Keep the history of your home understandable beyond the application

Trust through portability

Your home information belongs to you.

Xynch includes useful exports because keeping your information should not depend on making it difficult to leave. Security, portability and continuity are parts of the same trust promise.
